AAU ODL Admission 2024 – Apply Now for Short-Term Training and Certificate Courses
The Directorate of Open & Distance Learning (AAU-ODL) at Assam Agricultural University (AAU) has announced the admission schedule for various short-term training and certificate programs set to begin in December 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official AAU-ODL website from November 5, 2024, to November 25, 2024.
AAU-ODL is offering a wide range of diploma, certificate, and short-term courses aimed at enhancing the skills and career prospects of learners and professionals. These courses are specifically designed to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners, including farmers, entrepreneurs, rural women, and unemployed youth. The programs are tailored to provide practical knowledge, essential skills, and employment opportunities, benefiting all sections of society.

AAU ODL Course Structure
The salient features of various AAU ODL Courses are as mentioned below:
- Classes for each course will be conducted online (via Google Meet or other meeting apps).
- Each course will be conducted under the supervision of a Course Director.
- For each course, the registered learners will have to undergo in-campus practical training for at least 3-7 days for short-term training courses and 10 days for certificate courses, preferably towards the end of the course.
- Self Learning Material (SLM) will be provided to the learners.
- At the end of the course, a certificate will be provided to the learners. It is mandatory to attend the Hands-on/Practical Training at the selected campus of Assam Agricultural University.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on the eligibility criteria mentioned earlier. The List of Shortlisted Candidates will be published on the official AAU-ODL website at odl.aau.ac.in. To complete the final selection, shortlisted candidates will need to pay the admission/course fees online. The payment link will be provided after the publication of the shortlisted candidate list.
How to Apply for AAU ODL Admission?
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for these courses by visiting the official AAU-ODL Application Portal. Follow the steps below to complete your application:
- Scroll down and go to the Important Web-Links section.
- Click on the “Online Application Form” link.
- A Google form will appear. You must log in to your Gmail account to apply.
- Fill in your personal and educational details, and upload the necessary documents.
- Pay the application fee according to your category and submit the form.
- Finally, take a printout of the application form for your reference.
The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the official AAU-ODL website. Shortlisted candidates will be required to pay the admission fee online. The link for payment will be shared after the list is published.
