The Guwahati Municipal Corporation has released a job notification for the recruitment of 15 Assistant Sanitary Inspector positions. The last date to apply is 14th November 2024.

Job Details

• Post Name: Assistant Sanitary Inspector
  
• Number of Posts: 15
  
• Remuneration: ₹17,000 per month
  
• Engagement Period: 11 months (contractual basis), with the possibility of extension based on performance and requirement.

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Must be a native citizen of Assam.
  
• Age Limit: Not more than 30 years as of 1st January 2024.
  
• Educational Qualification:
  
  • Graduate with Chemistry or Biology as a subject in Intermediate/Class 10+2 level or Higher Secondary.
    
    OR
    
  • Intermediate/Class 10+2 with Chemistry or Biology as a subject and a Diploma in Sanitary Inspector/Public Health/Solid Waste Management from a Government of India recognized institute.
    
• Preference: Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, Sanitation, or Solid Waste Management.

• Candidates who meet the criteria must submit their applications in person at the drop box in the Guwahati Municipal Corporation’s Personnel Branch office, 2nd Floor, Uzanbazar, Guwahati-781001.
  
• Original documents and certificates must be brought for verification at the interview. A PAN Card or valid ID and/or address proof are also required.
  
• The last date for application submission is 14th November 2024.
