The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 5 posts under the National Mental Health Survey in India 2 (NMHS2) project. These positions are funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India, and centrally coordinated by NIMHANS, Bangalore. The project will be implemented in Nagaland. 1. NMHS Survey Coordinator
- Number of Posts: 01
- Essential Qualifications:
- Master of Public Health (MPH), Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, or related fields.
OR - M.Sc. in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent).
- Master of Public Health (MPH), Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, or related fields.
- Desirable Experience:
- MPhil in Clinical Psychology/Psychiatric Social Work.
- At least 1 year of experience in conducting field surveys related to mental health.
- Familiarity with psychiatric survey instruments for mental health conditions across age groups.
- Experience in health-related projects/programs at the state level.
- Ability to liaise with multiple organizations at the State/National level.
- Skills in planning and conducting survey-related training programs.
- Experience in health-related field-based data collection and field survey coordination.
- Fluency in English and local languages/dialects (spoken and written).
- Familiarity with electronic data collection methods and computer applications.
- MPhil in Clinical Psychology/Psychiatric Social Work.
- Pay: ₹55,000/- per month (consolidated), excluding local travel, which will be borne separately.
- Age Limit: Maximum 40 years (General) / 45 years (Relaxed categories).
2. NMHS Field Data Collector
- Number of Posts: 04
- Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, or related fields.
OR - BSc Nursing with 2 years of community-based experience.
- Master’s in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, or related fields.
- Desirable Experience:
- Familiarity with psychiatric survey instruments for mental health conditions across age groups.
- Experience in health-related projects/programs at the state level.
- Ability to liaise with different organizations at State/National levels.
- Experience in health-related field-based data collection.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications.
- Fluency in English and local languages/dialects (spoken and written).
- Familiarity with psychiatric survey instruments for mental health conditions across age groups.
- Pay: ₹45,000/- per month (consolidated), excluding local travel, which will be borne separately.
- Age Limit: Maximum 40 years (General) / 45 years (Relaxed categories).
