Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya (BSSRV), Golaghat has announced the recruitment of 13 academic staff for various departments at the University. Eligibility Criteria:
The eligibility criteria for the above posts are as per the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualification for appointment of Teachers and other academic staff in Universities and Colleges, including any amendments made up to 2023.
- Citizenship: Applicants must be a citizen of India.
- Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit (both mentally and physically). A certificate signed by the District Medical Officer or a competent Registered Medical Officer, approved by the Vice-Chancellor, must be submitted before joining. However, this certificate is not required for candidates already in service at BSSRV.
- Character Certificate: A certificate of good character from the head of the institution last attended or served must accompany the application (if the candidate is not already in service at BSSRV).

About Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya
Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya has been established by the Government of Assam under the Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya Act 2020. Prof. Jyoti Prasad Saikia has been appointed as the first Vice Chancellor of the university. The university has been allotted land in Rangajan under Morongi Revenue Circle of Golaghat District.
Presently, the office of the Vice Chancellor is run from Golaghat Engineering College premises. The mission and vision of the university are to develop global citizens through a holistic learning process, and endeavouring to turn it into a hub of multidisciplinary research and academic excellence for all its stakeholders.
