The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced an employment notification for the recruitment of 27 Assistant Programmer posts in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions. Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit:
- UR/EWS: 30 years
- OBC: 33 years
- SC/ST: 35 years
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must fulfill one of the following sets of qualifications:
(A)
- Master’s Degree in Computer Application or Computer Science or Master of Technology (with specialization in Computer Application)
OR - Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Technology from a recognized university or institute.
OR
(B)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application, Computer Science, Electronics, or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized university.
- Two years of experience in electronic data processing work, including actual programming, from a recognized institute or government/public sector organization.
OR
(C)
- A Level diploma under the Department of Electronic Accredited Computer Courses Programme or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application offered under a university program.
- Three years of experience in electronic data processing work, including actual programming, from a recognized institute or government/public sector organization.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of programming in C, C++, or Visual C++
- Experience with Oracle, RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems)
- Experience with RISC-based Computer Systems under UNIX/UNIX-like Operating Systems or Windows Networking/Windows Environment.
