Indian Air Force Admit Card 2024 – Agniveer Vayu Recruitment

The Indian Air Force (IAF) will soon release the Admit Cards for the Phase I online test of the Agniveer Vayu recruitment under the Agnipath Scheme (also known as Agneepath Scheme). Candidates who submitted their applications for the Agniveer (Vayu) positions between 8th July and 4th August 2024 will be able to download their admit cards from the official IAF recruitment portal.

Additionally, candidates can check their exam city and date on the same portal.

How to Download the Indian Air Force Admit Card:

  1. Scroll down to the Important Web Links section on the official IAF recruitment portal.
  2. Click on the Indian Air Force Admit Card link.
  3. The login page will appear.
  4. Enter your Email ID, Login Password, and the Captcha Code, then click on Sign In.
  5. Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Save and/or print the admit card for future reference.

Online Test for Agniveer Vayu Recruitment

Candidates who have applied for the Agniveer Vayu posts will need to appear for an Online Test as part of the recruitment process. Provisional admit cards will be sent to eligible candidates for Phase I of the testing via their registered e-mail IDs, typically 48-72 hours before the examination. Candidates must download the admit card, take a color printout, and bring it to the examination center. The name of the exam city and the date of the exam will be shared with candidates well in advance to allow for proper planning.

Exam Details:

  • Type of Questions: Objective type
  • Language of Questions: Bilingual (English & Hindi) except for the English paper
  • Marking Pattern: 1 mark for each correct answer
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer

Important Instructions:

  • Candidates must bring one blue/black pen and the original AADHAAR card to the examination center for Phase – I testing.

Science Subjects Exam Pattern

For candidates applying under the Science Subjects category, the exam pattern is as follows:

    All subjects will follow the 10+2 CBSE syllabus.

Other Than Science Subjects Exam Pattern

For candidates applying under the Other Than Science Subjects category, the exam pattern is as follows:

  • Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA)

Combined Exam Pattern (Science & Other Than Science Subjects)

For candidates appearing for both Science Subjects & Other Than Science Subjects, the exam pattern will be:

  • Duration of Exam: 85 minutes

    All subjects will follow the 10+2 CBSE syllabus.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Candidates who qualify the online test will be shortlisted and their names will be displayed on the CASB Web Portal https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in. These shortlisted candidates will then be called to designated ASC (Airmen Selection Centre) for the Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test-I, and Adaptability Test-II. The PFT consists of two parts, PFT-I and PFT-II.


PFT-I

Candidates will have to complete a 1.6 km run within the following time limits to qualify for PFT-II:

  • Male: Within 7 minutes
  • Female: Within 8 minutes

PFT-II

Candidates who qualify PFT-I will proceed to PFT-II after a recuperation period of 10 minutes. The sequence of exercises and maximum time for male and female candidates are as follows:
