The Indian Navy has released the official notification for the Indian Navy Civilian Entrance Test (INCET-01/2024). A total of 741 vacancies are available for various Naval Civilian Staff positions across multiple Naval units and formations across India. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online.


Vacancies and Educational Qualifications:

  1. Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop)
  • No. of Posts: 1
  • Age Limit: 18-25 years
  • Qualification:
    • B.Sc. with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics, or
    • Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
  1. Chargeman (Factory)
  • No. of Posts: 10
  • Age Limit: 18-25 years
  • Qualification:
    • B.Sc. with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics, or
    • Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Engineering.
  1. Chargeman (Mechanic)
  • No. of Posts: 18
  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years
  • Qualification:
    • Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Production Engineering,
    • 2 years of relevant experience in quality control/testing/maintenance.
  1. Scientific Assistant
  • No. of Posts: 4
  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years
  • Qualification:
    • B.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Electronics/Oceanography,
    • 2 years of experience in material testing, noise/vibration analysis, chemical analysis, or corrosion study.
  1. Draughtsman (Construction)
  • No. of Posts: 2
  • Age Limit: 18-25 years
  • Qualification:
    • Matriculation or equivalent,
    • 2 years Certificate in Draughtsmanship or 3 years apprenticeship,
    • AutoCAD certificate.
  1. Fireman
  • No. of Posts: 444
  • Age Limit: 18-27 years
  • Qualification:
    • 12th class pass,
    • Basic Fire Fighting course.
  1. Fire Engine Driver
  • No. of Posts: 58
  • Age Limit: 18-27 years
  • Qualification:
    • 12th class pass,
    • Heavy Motor Vehicle license.
  • Physical Standards: Specific height, chest, weight, and vision requirements apply.
  • Endurance Test: Includes carrying a person, long jump, and rope climbing.
  1. Tradesman Mate
  • No. of Posts: 161
  • Age Limit: 18-25 years
  • Qualification:
    • 10th class pass,
    • ITI certification in the relevant trade.
  1. Pest Control Worker
  • No. of Posts: 18
  • Age Limit: 18-25 years
  • Qualification:
    • Matriculation or equivalent,
    • Knowledge of Hindi or regional language.
  1. Cook
  • No. of Posts: 9
  • Age Limit: 18-25 years
  • Qualification:
    • Matriculation,
    • 1 year of experience in the trade.
  1. MTS (Ministerial)
  • No. of Posts: 16
  • Age Limit: 18-25 years
  • Qualification:
    • Matriculation or equivalent, or
    • ITI pass.

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
  • PwBD (OBC): 13 years
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 3 years

Examination Fee:

Candidates (except SC/ST/PwBDs/Ex-Servicemen/Women) are required to pay an examination fee of Rs. 295/- through online payment methods (Net Banking, Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card, UPI).
