The New India Assurance Company Ltd. (NIACL) has announced a recruitment notification for the recruitment of 500 Assistant positions in the Class III cadre. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official NIACL recruitment portal.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years
  • Age as on: 1st December 2024

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC-NCL: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Additionally, candidates should have passed English as one of the subjects in SSC/HSC/Intermediate/Graduation level. A certificate for the qualifying examination must be obtained by 01/12/2024.

Language Proficiency:

Candidates must possess proficiency in the Regional Language of the State/UT for which they are applying. A language test will be conducted to check their familiarity, and candidates failing this test will be disqualified.

Selection Process for New India Assurance Assistant Recruitment 2024

The selection process for the NIACL Assistant Recruitment involves three stages:

Tier I: Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Examination is an online objective test for 100 marks, consisting of 3 sections. Each section has a separate time limit of 20 minutes. The structure is as follows:

Tier II: Main Examination

The Main Examination is a online test for 250 marks, with a tentative duration of 2 hours. It consists of 5 sections, each with 40 questions. The structure is as follows:

Tier III: Regional Language Test

Candidates who qualify the online Main Examination will be called for the Regional Language Test, which will be conducted by the company at select centers. This test is required for candidates applying for vacancies in a state/UT other than their domiciled state/UT.

The Regional Language Test will be of a qualifying nature, and no marks will be assigned for it. Candidates need to be proficient in the regional language of the state/UT for which they are applying.

Important Note:
The final merit list will be based on the scores obtained in the Online Main Examination, provided the candidates qualify the Regional Language Test. Candidates must perform sufficiently well in the Main Examination to be considered for further stages of the recruitment process.
