The Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has released the admit card for the Computer Based Test (CBT) for the recruitment of 452 posts of Sub-Inspector (Executive) in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force. Candidates who applied online for these posts can now download their admit card.

Candidates who submitted online applications for the 452 posts of Sub-Inspector (Executive) can follow these steps to download their CBT Admit Card:

  3. A new webpage will open. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth, then click the Login button.
  4. Your RPF Admit Card 2024 will be displayed.
  5. Take a printout of the admit card and carry it to the exam hall.

Selection Process of RPF SI Recruitment

The recruitment process for Sub-Inspector (SI) posts under the Railway Protection Force (RPF) will consist of the following stages:

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
  3. Document Verification (DV)

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)

  • Name of Exam: Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Date of Exam: To be updated later
  • Mode of Exam: Online (CBT)
  • Duration of Exam: 90 minutes
  • Total No. of Questions: 120 questions
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Standard of Questions: Graduation level
  • Negative Marking: 1/3rd marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
  • Pass Marks:
    • UR, EWS, and OBC-NCL: 35%
    • SC & ST: 30%
  • Normalization: Marks will be normalized for CBTs held in multiple shifts.
  • Medium of Examination: Questions will be available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional Indian languages (Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu). Candidates must choose their preferred medium of examination during the online application process.
