RPF Admit Card 2024: Download & Exam Details
The Ministry of Railways, Government of India, will soon conduct a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the recruitment of 4208 Constable (Executive) posts in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force. Candidates who have applied online for these positions can download their admit cards once they are released. Currently, the application status is available online.

How to Download RPF Admit Card?
Candidates who have successfully submitted their applications for the 4208 Constable posts in RPF can download their admit cards by following these steps:
- Scroll down to the Important Web Links section.
- Click on the RPF Admit Card link.
- A new page will open. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth, then click the Login button.
- Your RPF Admit Card 2025 will be displayed.
- Download and take a printout of the admit card to carry to the examination hall.

Selection Process for RPF Constable Recruitment
The recruitment process consists of three stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Document Verification (DV)
1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) Details
- Exam Mode: Online (CBT)
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Total Questions: 120 (MCQs)
- Standard of Questions: 10th/ Matric level
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for each wrong answer
- Passing Marks:
- UR, EWS, OBC-NCL: 35%
- SC & ST: 30%
- Normalization: Applied for multiple-shift exams
- Medium of Exam: English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages
CBT Exam Syllabus
- Arithmetic (35 marks) – Number System, Decimals, Fractions, Ratios, Percentages, Profit & Loss, Time & Distance, etc.
- General Intelligence & Reasoning (35 marks) – Analogies, Spatial Visualization, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Coding-Decoding, etc.
- General Awareness (50 marks) – Current Events, Indian History, Geography, Indian Constitution, Science, Economics, Sports, etc.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Shortlisted candidates (based on CBT scores) will be called for PET/PMT in a 10:1 ratio (candidates to vacancies).
- Ex-servicemen are exempted from PET but must undergo PMT.
- If required candidates do not qualify in the first round of PET/PMT, a second round may be conducted.
- PET is qualifying in nature (no marks awarded).
- If Female and Ex-Servicemen vacancies remain unfilled, they will be filled by Male candidates of the same category.
Document Verification (DV) Guidelines
- Candidates will be considered for Document Verification (DV) based on their performance in the CBT, provided they qualify in PET & PMT.
- Attendance for DV is mandatory. Candidates who fail to appear will not be included in the final selection, regardless of their CBT and PET/PMT scores.
- Shortlisted candidates must present all original documents along with two self-attested photocopies at the time of DV.
- Before their DV date, candidates must upload scanned copies (in true color) of their photo and signature via the portal: https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv.
- No extra time will be given for submitting original documents. Failure to produce them on the scheduled DV date may result in disqualification.
