Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Technician Recruitment 2024
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has issued an employment notification for the recruitment of 14,298 Technician posts across various RRBs under CEN No. 02/2024. The revised online application process will be open from 2nd October 2024 to 16th October 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for RRB Technician Recruitment
- Age Limit:
- Technician Grade-I Signal: 18 to 36 years as of 1st July 2024
- Technician Grade-III: 18 to 33 years as of 1st July 2024
- Age Relaxation (for reserved categories):
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwBD (UR & EWS): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC/NCL): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Educational Qualification:
- Technician Grade-I Signal:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation from a recognized institution, OR
- A three-year Engineering Diploma in relevant streams, OR
- Degree in Engineering in the relevant fields.
- Technician Grade-III:
- Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions (NCVT/SCVT), OR
- Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the relevant trades.
- Technician (Workshops & Production Units):
- Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI in the relevant trade, OR
- Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the relevant trade.
- Technician Grade-I Signal:

Examination Fee for RRB Technician Recruitment
- Fee:
- SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward Class: ₹250
- Others: ₹500
- Payment Mode: Candidates can pay the examination fee online using Internet Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
