SBI Clerk Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process
The State Bank of India (SBI) Clerk recruitment process includes an online test (Preliminary & Main Exam) and a test of the specified opted local language.
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Exam is an online objective test worth 100 marks, conducted for 1 hour. It consists of the following sections:

Phase-II: Main Examination
The Main Examination is also an online test, structured as follows:

✅ Merit List: Prepared state-wise and category-wise based on aggregate marks in the Main Examination.
Test of Specified Opted Local Language
📌 Candidates who submit 10th or 12th standard mark sheets showing they studied the specified local language will be exempt from this test.
📌 Others will have to pass the local language test before joining. Failure to qualify will result in disqualification.
Final Selection Process
✔ Preliminary Exam (Phase-I) marks will not be considered in the final selection.
✔ Only the Main Examination (Phase-II) scores will be used for the final merit list.
✔ Provisional selection is based on performance in the Main Exam.
