Selection Process for SSC Constable GD Vacancy 2025

The selection process for SSC Constable GD 2025 consists of five stages:

1. Computer Based Examination (CBE)

  • Structure:
    • Number of Questions: 80 (Multiple Choice Questions)
    • Total Marks: 160
    • Duration: 60 minutes
    • Language Options: English, Hindi, and regional languages like Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, etc.
    • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer

  • Syllabus Overview:
    • General Intelligence & Reasoning: Non-verbal reasoning, patterns, analogies, spatial orientation, etc.
    • General Knowledge & Awareness: Current events, Indian history, constitution, geography, and science.
    • Elementary Mathematics: Basic arithmetic, percentages, ratio, time, and work.
    • English/Hindi: Basic comprehension and language skills.

2. Physical Standard Test (PST)

  • Chest (For Male Candidates Only):

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

4. Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
