The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2025 is organized by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) for admission to various B.Tech programs in the engineering colleges of Assam. The examination is conducted for the academic session 2025-2026.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam CEE 2025
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Residency Requirement:
- Candidates must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam, holding a valid PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) issued by the competent authority of Assam.
- For candidates seeking admission under the Central Government Employee Quota, they must submit proof of permanent residency from the relevant state authorities outside Assam.
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination in a single sitting, without any grace marks, with mandatory subjects as specified. The candidate should have passed both theory and practical exams individually.
- Candidates should have secured at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination (40% for reserved categories) in the relevant subjects.
- Alternatively, candidates with a 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology from the State Council for Technical Education, Assam, with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in the final diploma exam are also eligible.
- Age Limit:
- The candidate must be at least 17 years old on the date of registration for the CEE. There is no upper age limit.
- Character and Fitness:
- The candidate must have a good moral character, supported by a certificate from the head of the institution last attended.
- A medical certificate confirming the candidate’s physical and mental fitness must also be submitted.
Application Fee
- Fee Amount: Rs. 1350/- (Rupees One thousand three hundred and fifty)
- Payment Mode: Online payment via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
Assam CEE 2025 Admit Card
- The Admit Card for Assam CEE 2025 will be available for download on the official website of ASTU.
- Candidates can download their admit card from 12th April 2025 to 23rd April 2025 by entering their application form number/username and password, which were generated during the submission of the online application.

Eligible candidates can apply for the Assam CEE 2025 exam by following these steps:

- Navigate to the Important Web-Links section.
- Click on the Online Application Form link.
- Fill in your personal and educational details as required.
- Upload your passport-sized photograph, signature, and any other required documents.
- Pay the application fee according to your category.
- After completing all the details, click Submit.
- Take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.

Assam CEE 2025 Syllabus
The Assam CEE 2025 will be conducted according to the syllabus prescribed by the Assam State School Education Board (Class 12, Division II – Higher Secondary Division). The exam will be based on a single paper of 3 hours duration with the following distribution of subjects:

- Physics: 40 questions
- Chemistry: 40 questions
Each correct answer will award 4 marks, and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
