All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati has announced a recruitment notification for 77 Faculty (Group A) Posts in various departments, to be filled through direct recruitment. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online.
Available Positions:
- Professor
- Total Posts: 17 (UR: 06, OBC: 06, SC: 04, ST: 00, EWS: 01)
- Pay Scale: Rs. 37,400-67,000 + AGP Rs. 10,500/- (6th CPC)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 58 years
- Additional Professor
- Total Posts: 17 (UR: 05, OBC: 06, SC: 03, ST: 01, EWS: 02)
- Pay Scale: Rs. 37,400-67,000 + AGP Rs. 9,500/- (6th CPC)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 58 years
- Associate Professor
- Total Posts: 18 (UR: 05, OBC: 10, SC: 02, ST: 00, EWS: 01)
- Pay Scale: Rs. 37,400-67,000 + AGP Rs. 9,000/- (6th CPC)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years
- Assistant Professor
- Total Posts: 25 (UR: 04, OBC: 13, SC: 05, ST: 01, EWS: 02)
- Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 + AGP Rs. 8,000/- (6th CPC)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years
Educational Qualifications

- For SC/ST/PwBD/Women Candidates: No Fee

Submission of Hard Copy:
After submitting the online application, candidates must send a signed copy of the application along with self-attested copies of required documents (e.g., age proof, educational qualifications, experience certificates) within 15 days from the last date for online application.
Required Documents:
- Matriculation Certificate
- MBBS Degree Certificate/Mark-Sheets
- MD/MS/DM/MCh or equivalent Certificates/Mark Sheets
- Teaching/Research Experience Certificates
- Experience Certificate should include details such as the duration and nature of the experience (teaching or research), and must be recognized by NMC/Govt. of India.
- Completed Checklist (Annexure-VI)
