The Directorate of Health Services (DHS), Assam has released a notification for the recruitment of 919 Grade-III (Technical) posts under the Directorate of Health Services. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply online for these vacancies.

DHS Assam Recruitment 2024 Details:

1. Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM)

• No. of Posts: 181
• Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000/- with Grade Pay of ₹6,200/-
• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed ANM Training from an Assam Government Institution or an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and Assam Nursing Council. They must also be registered with the Assam Nursing Council and possess a valid Employment Exchange registration of Assam.

2. Staff Nurse

• No. of Posts: 446
• Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000/- with Grade Pay of ₹6,800/-
• Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a GNM Diploma or B.Sc. (Nursing) degree from a nursing institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. They must also be registered with the Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors Council and have Employment Exchange registration of Assam.

3. Staff Nurse (Critical Care)

• No. of Posts: 292
• Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000/- with Grade Pay of ₹6,800/-
• Educational Qualification:
  • GNM Diploma or B.Sc. (Nursing) degree from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
  • The candidate must be registered with the Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors Council.
  • The candidate should have at least one year of experience in working in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit).
  • Employment Exchange registration of Assam is also required.

Other Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit:
  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Maximum age: 40 years (as of 1st January 2024)
• Age Relaxation:
  • OBC/MOBC: 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
• Employment Exchange Registration:
  Candidates must have a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate for Assam.
• Application Fee:
  There is no application fee for the candidates.
