The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has issued employment notifications for the recruitment of 2047 vacancies in Grade III (Technical & Non-Technical) and Grade IV categories in various Medical Colleges, Hospitals, and other institutes under the DME Assam.
Interested and eligible candidates may apply online from 29th November 2024 to 9th December 2024.
The online application process has been re-opened to fill vacancies in different Grade-III (Technical) posts across Medical Colleges, Dental Colleges, Nursing Colleges, Paramedical Institutes, and other establishments under the Directorate of Medical Education, Assam.
Important Dates:
- Starting Date for Online Application Submission: 29th November 2024
- Last Date for Online Application Submission: 9th December 2024 (until 11:59 PM)
Candidates who have already applied for various Grade-III (Technical) posts as per advertisement No.DME/Recruitment/23/2023/20331 (dated 01.02.2023) and No. DME/Recruitment/23/2023/2295 (dated 17.08.2024) need not apply again.
DME Assam Recruitment 2024 – Vacancy Details
1. Grade-III (Technical)
- Number of Posts: 1070
- Educational Qualification: Check individual post-wise qualifications in the official advertisement.
- Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000 – Rs. 60,500, Grade Pay: Check advertisement details.
2. Grade-III (Non-Technical)
- Number of Posts: 320
- Educational Qualification: Check individual post-wise qualifications in the official advertisement.
- Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000 – Rs. 60,500, Grade Pay: Check advertisement details.
3. Grade-IV
- Number of Posts: 657
- Educational Qualification: Must be Class VIII passed from a recognized institution.
- Pay Scale: Rs. 12,000 – Rs. 52,000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 3,900.
Other Criteria for DME Assam Recruitment
- Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 to 40 years of age as of 1st January 2024.
- Age Relaxation:
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- ST/SC: 5 years
- PwD: 10 years
- Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered in any of the Employment Exchanges of Assam.
