  • OBC/MOBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years

Educational Qualification:

• Essential Qualification: Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) from an institution recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

Other Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian citizens as per Articles 5 to 8 of the Indian Constitution.

Residency Requirements:

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
• Must provide PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency.

Employment Exchange Registration:

• Candidates must be registered with any employment exchange in Assam.

Small Family Norms:

• Candidates must submit a declaration in Form-A regarding “The Small Family Norms.”
