IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2025: Apply for 15 Project Intern Positions
The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG) has announced an employment opportunity for 15 Project Intern positions under the project titled “Industrial Energy Assessments” at the School of Energy Sciences & Engineering. Interested and eligible candidates can apply before the deadline.
IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2025 Details
1. Project Intern
- No. of Posts: 10
- Allowance: Rs. 6,250 per month
- Shared accommodation may be provided on campus (subject to availability and payment). If availed, 16% of the pay will be deducted.
- Contract Duration: Initially for 89 days (extendable with allowance revision based on performance).
- Educational Qualification:
- Final-year students of B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Senior Project Intern
- No. of Posts: 5
- Allowance: Rs. 7,500 per month
- Shared accommodation may be provided on campus (subject to availability and payment). If availed, 16% of the pay will be deducted.
- Contract Duration: Initially for 89 days (extendable with allowance revision based on performance).
- Educational Qualification:
- Final-year students of M.E./M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or other allied areas related to Energy.

- Candidates working under Central/State Government, PSU, or Autonomous Bodies must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) in advance or at the interview.
