Duration of Apprenticeship Training Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Recruitment Age Limit
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 24 years (as of 31st January 2025)

OBC/MOBC: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years
PwBD-OBC(NCL): 13 years

Educational Qualification Post Name Qualification Trade Apprentice (Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, etc.) Matriculation with full-time ITI in relevant trade (recognized by NCVT/SCVT). Technician Apprentice (Engineering) Full-time Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Graduate Apprentice (Any discipline) Full-time Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator – Fresher) Class 12th pass with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator – Skilled) Class 12th pass with Skill Certificate in “Domestic Data Entry Operator” training of less than one year.
