Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has issued an employment notification for the recruitment of 246 Non-Executive Posts under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online. Below are the details of the recruitment process.
IOCL Non-Executive Recruitment 2025
1. Junior Operator
- Total Vacancies: 215 posts
- Vacancies in Assam: 10 posts
Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed Matriculation (Class X).
- 2-year ITI pass in any of the following specified trades with a Trade Certificate/National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by SCVT/NCVT:
- Electronics Mechanic
- Instrument Mechanic
- Instrument Mechanic (Chemical Plant)
- Electrician
- Machinist
- Fitter
- Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronics Communication System
- Wireman
- Mechanic Industrial Electronics
- Information Technology & ESM
Work Experience:
- Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in a relevant field (excluding training) in a factory or manufacturing organization.
- Apprentice training under the Apprentice Act after completing a 2-year ITI course will be considered as experience, provided the candidate has a National Apprentice Certificate issued/recognized by NCVT/NCVET.
2. Junior Attendant (Grade I)
- Total Vacancies: 23 posts
Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed Higher Secondary (Class XII) with at least 40% marks in aggregate (for PwBD candidates as per relaxed standards).
Work Experience:
- No prior work experience is required.
3. Junior Business Assistant (Grade III)
- Total Vacancies: 23 posts
Educational Qualification:
- A graduate degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks in aggregate (for PwBD candidates) from a recognized institute/university.
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Relaxed typing speed of 20 words per minute (WPM) as per the relaxed standard.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience (excluding training) in a commercial enterprise, manufacturing organization, government department, or PSU.
- Apprentice training in the optional trade of Accountant under the Apprentice Act after completing graduation will be considered as experience, provided the candidate has a Certificate of Proficiency issued by the Ministry of Education/Govt. of India.
Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Recruitment
Age Limit (as of 31st January 2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 26 years (for Unreserved candidates)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD (UR): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC-NCL): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
Application Fee:
- Rs. 300/- (Non-refundable for general candidates)
- Exempted for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates
- GST/Bank transaction charges for online payment will be borne by the candidate.
