Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced a recruitment notification for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical) vacancies. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the positions.

Vacancy Details:

1. Junior Engineer (Civil)
   • No of posts: 7
2. Junior Engineer (Electrical)
   • No of posts: 4

Pay Scale: ₹20,700 – ₹55,700 (with annual increments as per the scale)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Age Limit:
   • Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained 30 years.
   • Candidates born not earlier than 02/12/1994 and not later than 01/12/2004 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
2. Age Relaxation:
   • SC/ST: 5 years
   • OBC: 3 years
   • PwBD: 10 years for General/EWS, 15 years for SC/ST/PwBD, and 13 years for OBC/PwBD.
3. Educational Qualification:
   • Junior Engineer (Civil):
     • Diploma: Minimum 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering with 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).
     • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
   • Junior Engineer (Electrical):
     • Diploma: Minimum 3 years Diploma in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).
     • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
4. Experience:
   • Junior Engineer (Civil):
     • Diploma holders: Minimum 2 years of experience in execution and supervision of civil construction or maintenance work.
     • Degree holders: Minimum 1 year of experience.
   • Junior Engineer (Electrical):
     • Diploma holders: Minimum 2 years of experience in execution and supervision of electrical installations.
     • Degree holders: Minimum 1 year of experience.

Application Fee:

• SC/ST/PwBD: ₹50 + 18% GST
• GEN/OBC/EWSs: ₹450 + 18% GST
• Staff: Nil (Exempted)
