Name of Post: Assistant Manager (Engineer)
Total No. of Posts: 169 posts
Discipline-wise Vacancy:
- Engineer- Civil: 43 posts
- Engineer- Electrical: 25 posts
- Engineer- Fire: 101 posts
Age Limit (as of 01/10/2024):
- Engineer- Civil / Engineer- Electrical: Age should be between 21 to 30 years.
- Engineer- Fire: Age should be between 21 to 40 years.
Educational Qualification:
- Engineer- Civil / Engineer- Electrical:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Engineer- Fire:
- B.E. (Fire) from National Fire Service College (NFSC) Nagpur, or
- B.E. / B. Tech in Safety & Fire Engineering, or
- B.E. / B. Tech in Fire Technology & Safety Engineering, or
- Equivalent 4-year degree in Fire Safety from a UGC-recognized University / AICTE-approved institution, or
- Graduate of Institution of Fire Engineers (India/UK) or Divisional Officers course from NFSC, Nagpur and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Station Officer or equivalent post in a City Fire Brigade/State Fire Brigade/Corporate/Big Industrial Complex or as a Fire Officer in State Govt Institutions/PSUs.
Work Experience:
- Engineer- Civil / Engineer- Electrical:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in installation, handling, and maintenance of electrical equipment like UPS, generators, energy-saving devices, motors, control panels, HT-LT switch gears, air-conditioning equipment, lifts, etc., and in preparation of tender specifications and their evaluation.
- Engineer- Fire:
- B.E. (Fire) or B.E. / B.Tech (Safety & Fire Engineering): Minimum 2 years of experience in fire safety in any reputed organization.
- Graduate of Institution of Fire Engineers (India/UK) or Divisional Officers course from NFSC, Nagpur: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Station Officer or equivalent in a City Fire Brigade/State Fire Brigade/Corporate/Big Industrial Complex or as a Fire Officer in State Govt Institutions/PSUs.
