About Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC) Guwahati:
Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC) Guwahati was established by the Government of India to meet the tooling and training needs of industries in the North Eastern Region. The Assam State Government has provided the land and initial building for the center.
TRTC, registered as a Government of India Society on 24th February 2000, is located at Amingaon Industrial Area, North Guwahati Road, Guwahati. The center boasts a sprawling campus that includes an administrative block, training block, modern workshop, knowledge center, staff quarters, and hostel.
Eligibility Criteria for TRTC Guwahati Apprenticeship Training:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications, based on the respective vacancies:
- B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce with a minimum of 6 months certificate course in Computer Application.
- Age Limit: Not specified in the notification.
- Stipend:
- For B.E./B. Tech/Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce: Rs. 12,000/- per month.
- For Diploma candidates: Rs. 10,000/- per month.
