  • Group ‘B’ Services:

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 32 years as of 1st August 2025
    (Born between 2nd August 1993 and 1st August 2004).

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must hold a degree from:

  • A recognized university incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or
  • Institutions declared to be deemed as universities under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or
  • An equivalent qualification.

Candidates Appearing for Final Exams:

Candidates awaiting results or planning to appear for qualifying examinations can apply. However, they must provide proof of passing the qualifying exam during the interview stage.


Examination Scheme

The Civil Services Examination comprises two stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination:
    • Objective type for shortlisting candidates for the Main Examination.
  2. Main Examination:
    • Written test followed by an interview for final selection.
